RON WILLS

Ron Wills is a seasoned corporate executive with CEO, CFO, COO and Board Member experience in a variety of industries with a focus on the small to mid-market business (SMB). As a consultant, he has a proven record in rebuilding and revitalizing organizations by assisting companies in creating and managing accurate financial systems, acquiring new clients, managing successful teams across organizational divisions all with a focus on building scalable and profitable companies. He has 17 years’ experience as a senior executive in the banking industry as a leader in corporate credit serving the business community and as a COO growing a start-up bank to over a quarter of a billion in assets.

If there is one lesson I have learned in my career is that “It’s lonely at the top.” I have met and worked with hundreds of business owners over my career and have become a true believer of CEO Focus’ core philosophies “Owning a business automatically enrolls you in the ‘School of Hard Knocks’ and, most importantly, there is no reason you have to go it alone.” As much as I have been able to help countless CEOs, I have learned so many valuable lessons from working with each of them. Perhaps it’s time to drop out of the School of Hard Knocks and learn valuable lessons from your fellow CEOs in the Washington, DC region? It will be one of the best decisions you make this year. -Ron

With all his business success, however, a balance with home life is very important. Ron is most proud of his marriage of 30+ years to Sandy and of their three children: Kent who served in the Army as a Captain leading a Patriot Missile deployment and now as a Software Engineer in Silicon Valley, California. Kimberly, a neuro science undergrad and University of Maryland Clark School of Business, MBA is an executive with a major technology firm in northern Virginia and JB, who is a software engineer like his older brother in Silicon Valley is living life large! Ron is likewise proud of his accomplishments serving the business community in the Washington, DC region and through his work in founding the National Association of Business Owners & Entrepreneurs (NABOE) as a leading advocate for the small to mid-market business owner.
