Bill has close to 20 years of hands on business and management consulting experience, working directly with hundreds of business owners to achieve their vision and financial goals. His consulting expertise is enabling business owners and senior management to improve operations, financial management, sales, and productivity. He also works with owners and families on M&A, business succession or selling the business. Bill has an exceptional skill to assess an organization’s big picture issues and then drill down to the changes needed at the detail level.
He has successfully built and managed three companies and brought in to turn-around another company. Bill has an experience spectrum ranging from large corporations to solo proprietor. Recently, Bill orchestrated the review, analysis and negotiations of $50 million dollar business transaction in Sacramento. He has performed fair market valuations on scores of businesses. He has assisted many firms in reaching the next level through strategic planning and sales & marketing planning projects. Bill has written and published more than 100 articles on various business topics including financial analysis, sales & marketing, ownership issues and general management topics. He has led dozens of seminars and training sessions as well as presented online webinars on topics such as; Business Planning, Sales and Marketing Planning, Merger & Acquisitions, Business Valuations, Financial Analysis, Workflow, Procedure Manuals, Employee Productivity and various other topics.
Bill is a master at balancing the hard and the soft skills in life and business. He is passionate about helping clients balance the practical "doing" tasks of building and leading great businesses, as well as the subtle "being" skills of management, handling stress, time management and fostering business/personal relationships.
Bill is one of those rare individuals who comfortable with guiding his clients through the nuances of what it takes to successfully run a business and showing clients how to live a fulfilling life. Bill brings together an engineer’s logical mind, business savvy, great interpersonal skills and a holistic approach to all his work.
He is a Dale Carnegie graduate and an NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner. He is also a member of the American Society of Appraisers and a Certified Insurance Counselor. Bill earned an Aerospace Engineering BS
from the University of Buffalo and worked on his Mechanical Engineering MS at Loyola Marymount University. He enjoys continuous learning and has over the years taken numerous classes on real estate, financial investments, business
management, and communication skills.
